Mr Veá has introduced
state-of-the-art techniques, while keeping the most rigorous
traditional methods of cultivation and selection of the
olive. He has also added
the obsession, traditional in his family, that only the
best olive oils are able to bear the name VEÀ.
Absolutely all virgin olive oil bottled under the trademark
VEÀ, comes from no pressure first cold molturing
of olives from the Arbequina variety.
To obtain such an oil,
no centrifugation has been used, keeping thus intact the
characteristics of the olive, since they have neither
been heated, nor emulsionated. No chemicals whatsoever
are used in the cultivation of the olive trees, no pesticides,
no insecticides, not even chemical fertilizers, obtaining
therefore an oil that complies with the most rigorous
biological standards. Sulphates are used only once or
twice a year.
