bad harvest production wise, but not in quality.
For the five months prior to production, there wasn't any rain. As a consequence, the harvest was very low. Thanks to having installed a support irrigation system in part of the estate, we were able to improve the quality and the production value, as being a year so dry, the olives are of a very small size with a very big bone. This affects negatively the oil quality.
2000 bottles will be produced this year, a significantly lower quantity than the previous harvest.
Olives recollected between the 2d and the 11th day of November, 2011 at the Les Costes estate.
Variety 100% Arbequina
First cold pressed oil.
